Overview
Investment Policy
The sub-fund may invest directly or indirectly in emerging markets, specifically in the new emerging economies of the East (such as India, China, and certain ASEAN countries), as well as in other emerging markets such as Brazil or promising countries like Turkey, South Africa, and Mexico. To achieve this objective, the sub-fund invests primarily in a portfolio of stocks and bonds, with the weighting of each ranging from 0% to 100%. To a lesser extent, the sub-fund may also invest up to 20% of its portfolio in money market instruments, units of collective investment schemes, derivatives, deposits, and cash equivalents. The sub-fund is not linked to a benchmark and is actively managed.
The bonds and debt instruments in which the sub-fund invests are issued by a wide range of issuers: governments, public-sector entities, private companies, and/or international institutions. The issues and/or issuers generally have an “investment grade” rating (minimum BBB- and/or Baa3). The sub-fund will not invest more than 50% of its portfolio in so-called high-yield bonds and bonds that do not have a credit rating. The rating used is the highest rating from one of the major rating agencies. The equity portfolio is dynamically positioned through a selection of companies with long-term profit and growth prospects.
Target Audience
This sub-fund is specifically aimed at investors who seek a potentially higher return than that offered by a low-risk financial product and who aim for balanced long-term growth , focusing primarily on investing in emerging markets through bonds issued by high-quality issuers, supplemented by an international basket of stocks (up to 100% of the portfolio). Furthermore, they have an investment horizon of at least 5 years.
Investment Objective
The fund's objective is to seek long-term capital growth by investing in emerging markets through bonds and stocks.
