Econopolis specializes in guiding institutional clients with wealth preservation. We target the management of long term assets such as pension funds, insurance liabilities, charities, hospitals. These assets require steady wealth accumulation to match future liabilities and hence have a benefit of following an Econopolis approach. We currently manage certain pension reserves of professional organizations.
At the start of 2010, Econopolis won the tender for acting as an exclusive advisor of the pension reserves of the Belgian Senate. We advise the organization on asset allocation, the set-up of a client friendly reporting and risk control system, cost-monitoring and choice of external managers.
Finally, for certain institutional clients Econopolis acts as a Fiduciary Manager : a financial coach who provides assistance in the field of asset allocation, controlling asset managers and related cost components.
Econopolis creates and manages specialized investment vehicles around specific themes. Assisted by JP Morgan Asset Management, Econopolis launched a mutual fund according to Luxembourg law which directly invests into Brazilian sovereign bonds. Other specialized investment products are in the pipeline.
