Corporate Finance

In the field of corporate finance and consultancy assignments, Econopolis acts as a mediator, always seeking to engineer win-win solutions for the parties involved. Not only does it result in less tensions during negotiation rounds, it also lays down the fundamentals for future co-operation between the parties and a durable extension of activities.

Next to mergers & acquisitions, Econopolis also guides companies in their quest for financing. This can be achieved by raising capital (equity) or emissions of corporate bonds.

The following two transactions serve as a reference :

Centea

Econopolis was lead advisor on behalf of Crédit Agricole/Landbouwkrediet when taking over Centea from KBC. The operation entails +/- 550 million euros. Econopolis was strategic advisor and responsible for the valuation, the negotiation and coordination of the external transaction team.

Alternative Energy

Econopolis Wealth management acted as advisor on behalf of minority shareholders when selling their participation in a leading Belgian company in the sector of solar energy. The counterparty for the transaction was CAPE, a specialized French investment fund (Crédit Agricole Private Equity). The transaction confirms the know-how of Econopolis in the field of alternative energy and proves our problem solving capabilities when it comes to fundamental changes in corporate environments (shareholdership, management etc).
